The master bedroom looks out over the eastern ramparts and the beach, towards the Peace Pagoda visible across Galle Bay. The large, airy space has a private en-suite bathroom and an adjacent study.  French windows lead to a balcony along the entire front of the house with a view toward the lighthouse.

Shutters keep out the harshest sunshine and a four-poster bed with mosquito nets all round guarantee you a good night’s rest.
